Baseball Recap: Park City Comes Up Short

Park City was the 12-0 winner over Morgan when they last played one another back in May of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Miners fell 11-7 to the Trojans on Friday.

Jackson Noonan made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Park City: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-12 otherwise. Charlie Cusimano was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Park City's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Morgan, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-9.

Looking ahead, Park City will challenge Ridgeline at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Riverhawks' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Miners' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Morgan, they will take on East at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
