Wai'anae faced Kailua in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Seariders came out on top against the Surfriders by a score of 15-7. The Seariders' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Wai'anae's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Kailua, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wai'anae will square off against rival Waipahu at 6:00 p.m. on the 27th. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Seariders 8, the Marauders 11.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Kailua is set to challenge their familiar foe 'Aiea at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
