Volleyball Game Preview: St. Maries Lumberjacks vs. Orofino Maniacs

St. Maries is on a six-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Orofino a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The St. Maries Lumberjacks will be playing at home against the Orofino Maniacs at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

St. Maries lost 3-0 to Priest River on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-14, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Orofino came up short against Genesee on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-18, 9-25, 25-12, 25-6.

Orofino's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for St. Maries, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

St. Maries suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Orofino in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Lumberjacks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
