Soccer Recap: Goochland Takes a Loss

Goochland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Orange County Fighting Hornets. While losing is never fun, Goochland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 210th, while Orange County are ranked 62nd).

Goochland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Orange County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3-2.

Looking ahead, Goochland will challenge Fluvanna County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Goochland are facing Fluvanna County at the right time seeing as Fluvanna County are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Orange County, they will take on Monticello at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
