The Ellet Orangemen will head out to take on the Firestone Falcons at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Ellet is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, Ellet didn't have quite enough to beat Copley and fell 3-2.

Ellet saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cullen McKeel, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Firestone never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on Springfield with a sharp 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won six games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Jason Chestnut tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over six innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Sunday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Ellet has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Firestone struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.4 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
