Durango lost to Fruita Monument back in September, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Demons came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Demons.

While Durango might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Fruita Monument scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-22, 23-25, 25-20.

Durango's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Fruita Monument, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Durango will face off against rival Montrose at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Fruita Monument is set to challenge their familiar foe Grand Junction at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
