Saturday just wasn't the day for San Marcos's offense. They came up short against the Bishop Badgers on Saturday, falling 12-0. The Rattlers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

San Marcos' defeat dropped their record down to 7-5-1. As for Bishop, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

San Marcos will be taking part in a tournament against Los Fresnos at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. San Marcos is facing Los Fresnos at the right time seeing as Los Fresnos is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bishop, they will take on Harlingen in a tournament on Saturday.
