Baseball Recap: Shannon Comes Up Short

Shannon lost against Mantachie back in March of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Shannon Red Raiders fell just short of the Mantachie Mustangs by a score of 10-9. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zach Davis was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Daniel Mullins was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Shannon's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Mantachie, the victory also got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Shannon is taking a road trip to square off against Ingomar at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mantachie, they will square off against Shannon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
