Soccer Recap: Bishop McDevitt Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Bishop McDevitt after they claimed the first goal on Saturday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Altoona Mountain Lions by a score of 2-1. If Bishop McDevitt were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to Altoona when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bishop McDevitt's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Altoona, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Bishop McDevitt and Altoona will both be playing Central Dauphin East the next time they take the pitch. The Mountain Lions will host the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Crusaders will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
