Baseball Recap: Randolph County Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Randolph County might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-2 to Cleburne County, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Randolph County has struggled against Cleburne County recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Randolph County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Jones, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Randolph County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Cleburne County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Randolph County has already played their next game, a 12-2 loss against Central of Clay County on the 19th. As for Cleburne County, they will challenge Ranburne at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
