            Baseball Recap: St. Marys Flying Dutch vs. Johnsonburg Rams        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against DuBois Central Catholic, St. Marys was happy to have turned things around  on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by  a  14-0 margin over the Johnsonburg Rams. Considering the Flying Dutch have won five games by more than five  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.

 Louie Nedzinski and  Cameron Coudriet were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing,  Nedzinski   struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile,  Coudriet   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. St. Marys is undefeated when  Nedzinski allows one or  fewer  hits, but 3-7 otherwise. At bat,  Nedzinski  went 1-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI, while  Coudriet  went 3-for-4 with five  RBI. Those  five  RBI gave  Coudriet a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  TYSEN BEIMEL was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  triple. He is becoming a predictor of St. Marys' success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 3-7 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of  Ben Reynolds, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and two  RBI.
 St. Marys  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .647. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
The  victory snapped St. Marys' losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 7-7 record. As for Johnsonburg, their loss was  their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-12.
 St. Marys has  already played their next  match (against Elk County Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Johnsonburg, they will square off against Brookville at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
