Everson Vaughan turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Friday. He produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). He is becoming a predictor of Pallotti's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 7-9 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Vaughan and Pallotti will take on Sts. Peter & Paul at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
