Triton extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Ro'Mello Pegues. The Triton Hawks came out on top against the Overhills Jaguars by a score of 45-37 on Friday thanks in part to Pegues, who went 7 of 11 en route to 19 points. The match was his eighth in a row with at least 19 points.

Another player making a difference was Demarbiaz Devane, who posted five points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Despite the loss, Overhills still got an impressive performance from Deshaun Barton, who scored 20 points and four steals. Barton has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Bryant, who put up two points and nine rebounds.

Triton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points over those games. As for Overhills, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

Looking ahead, Triton will challenge Harnett Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Triton is facing Harnett Central at the right time seeing as Harnett Central is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Overhills, they will take on Pine Forest at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
