Basketball Game Preview: Independence Blue Devils vs. East Canton Hornets

The Independence Blue Devils will be taking part in a tournament against the East Canton Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Independence knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully East Canton likes a good challenge.

Independence took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 70-43 victory over David Anderson.

Meanwhile, East Canton beat Brookfield 51-38 on Friday.

Independence's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.8 points. As for East Canton, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-10.
