Volleyball Game Preview: West Holt Huskies vs. Boyd County Spartans

The West Holt Huskies will square off against the Boyd County Spartans on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, West Holt got the win against Wausa by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: West Holt took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Boyd County earned a 2-0 win over Santee on Tuesday.

Boyd County never let Santee on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-12.

West Holt is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Boyd County, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.

West Holt took their win against Boyd County in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
