Softball Recap: Hill Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mt. Pleasant last Friday, Hill came back down to earth. The Falcons came up short against the Gunderson Grizzlies on Wednesday, falling 15-5. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Grizzlies: they've now lost six in a row.

Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Gunderson, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Hill will take on Independence at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The 76ers will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gunderson, they will square off against Overfelt at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
