Softball Recap: Immaculate Heart Falls to Archer School for Girls in First Game of Season

Immaculate Heart unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 17-0 to the Archer School for Girls Panthers on Monday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 16 in a row.

The victory made it two in a row for Archer School for Girls and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Immaculate Heart will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Bishop Conaty-Loretto at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop Conaty-Loretto's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Immaculate Heart's hitters will have their work cut out for them. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up.
