Dumas came into Tuesday's game having lost ten straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 29-19 margin over the Central Cougars on Tuesday. The Bobcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Kentz Brown was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with seven stolen bases, four runs, and one triple. Those seven stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Dumas always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .814. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-14. As for Central, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-0 defeat against DeWitt on the 15th. Hopefully Dumas paid attention to the Cougars' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
