Basketball Game Preview: Aucilla Christian Warriors vs. Jefferson County Tigers

The Aucilla Christian Warriors just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Jefferson County Tigers at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Friday, Aucilla Christian ended up a good deal behind Altha and lost 50-35. The Warriors have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Jefferson County played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 67-16 loss at the hands of Madison County. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Greg Hagan was Jefferson County's leading scorer, having posted seven points.

Jefferson County dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Aucilla Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
