Football Game Preview: Glenbard West Hilltoppers vs. York Dukes + Official Tickets

The Glenbard West Hilltoppers will take on the York Dukes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Glenbard West is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Friday, Glenbard West got the win against Hinsdale Central by a conclusive 44-20. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Hilltoppers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Red Devils are ranked 40th).

Meanwhile, York unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 41-28 to Downers Grove North.

Glenbard West's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for York, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-2.

Glenbard West came up short against York in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 24-14. Can the Hilltoppers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
