Rylee Mahaffey posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
