Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Millry). They were the clear victor by a 17-7 margin over the Fruitdale Pirates on Tuesday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by ten runs or more this season.

The win (which was Millry's fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Fruitdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millry will square off against Southern Choctaw at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Millry's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Southern Choctaw's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Fruitdale, they will head out on the road to face off against Sweet Water at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
