Basketball Recap: Johnson County Comes Up Short

Johnson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Cloudland Highlanders, falling 68-33. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-34 back in December of 2024.

Johnson County's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Cloudland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Johnson County has already played their next game, a 62-45 defeat against Chuckey-Doak on the 14th. As for Cloudland, they will take on North Greene at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
