Volleyball Recap: Ar-We-Va Takes a Loss

Ar-We-Va was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the IKM/Manning Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 9th.

Ar-We-Va's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for IKM/Manning, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

Ar-We-Va wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Denison-Schleswig on the 27th. As for IKM/Manning, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Audubon on the 27th.
