Basketball Recap: Wayne Trace Comes Up Short

Wayne Trace entered their matchup against Crestview on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wayne Trace Raiders were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 31-30 to the Crestview Knights. The contest marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Wayne Trace's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2. As for Crestview, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.

Wayne Trace will take on West Noble in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Crestview and Fort Jennings will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
