Soccer Recap: Oxford Takes a Loss

Oxford fell victim to Bloomfield Hills and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Black Hawks by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Oxford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while Bloomfield Hills are ranked second).

Oxford's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-3. As for Bloomfield Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-0-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oxford will face off against Dakota at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Bloomfield Hills, they will host Seaholm at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
