Football Game Preview: Hazen Highlanders vs. Redmond Mustangs

The Hazen Highlanders will head out on the road to face off against the Redmond Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hazen's defense has only allowed 11 points per game this season, so Redmond's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Hazen is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Inglemoor just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. Having soared to a lofty 33 points in the game before, the Highlanders couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Redmond played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 70-21 defeat at the hands of Renton. The Mustangs were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Hazen's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Redmond, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Hazen against Redmond when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 55-14 victory. In that contest, the Highlanders amassed a halftime lead of 27-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
