Baseball Recap: Ocoee Triumphs

Ocoee's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Innovation Bulls 2-1.

Ocoee's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Mojica, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Ocoee has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Innovation, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Coming up, Ocoee will welcome Horizon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Innovation, they will face off against Boone at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games the Braves have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
