Volleyball Recap: Mallard Creek Takes a Loss

Mallard Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the South Point Red Raiders.

Despite the defeat, Mallard Creek saw an underclassman step up: freshman Mia Harris had seven digs and two aces.

Mallard Creek's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for South Point, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Mallard Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Charlotte Christian on the 23rd. As for South Point, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Porter Ridge on the 23rd.
