Softball Game Preview: Brushton-Moira Panthers vs. Harrisville Pirates

The Brushton-Moira Panthers will face off against the Harrisville Pirates at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brushton-Moira has given up an average of 14.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Monday, Brushton-Moira narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Heuvelton Central 13-12. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Harrisville didn't have quite enough to beat Indian River on May 2nd and fell 9-7. The loss put an end to the Pirates' undefeated start to the season.

Brushton-Moira pushed their record up to 6-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.7 runs over those games. As for Harrisville, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
