Cinco Ranch is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Mayde Creek on Friday as they made off with a 17-1 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Cougars with their most commanding win of the season.

Morton Ranch had taken Mayde Creek down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end last Friday. The Mavericks fell 14-10 to the Rams.

Kaili Bledsaw made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Keegan Grau also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Cinco Ranch's win bumped their record up to 12-15-1. As for Morton Ranch, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season.

Cinco Ranch skirted past Morton Ranch 4-2 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Mavericks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
