Baseball Game Preview: Tolar Rattlers vs. Dublin Lions

The Tolar Rattlers are taking a road trip to challenge the Dublin Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tolar will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Friday, Tolar got the win against Comanche by a conclusive 9-2.

Cutter Cain made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Cain was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lucas Mills, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Hunter Michels, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Tolar kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Dublin came up short against Early on Friday, falling 17-7. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tolar's record is now 8-11. As for Dublin, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.

Tolar was able to grind out a solid win over Dublin in their previous meeting back in February of 2019, winning 11-8. Will the Rattlers repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
