Dunedin was sadly handed a loss on Tuesday, but Colton Beard did his best to prevent it. Beard was dynamite, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
