There's no place like home for Ellington, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Summersville Wildcats on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Whippets in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won six in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-9.

Megan Copeland paced Ellington's offense, picking up 17 kills. Copeland got some help from Tayleigh Cowin and her 42 assists. Lilyanah Tisdale controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Ellington's win bumped their record up to 9-3-1. As for Summersville, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Ellington will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Valley at 5:30 p.m. As for Summersville, they will head out to face off against Lesterville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
