Basketball Recap: Southern Comes Up Short

Southern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 75-30 loss at the hands of the Shawnee Golden Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Trojans have suffered since January 12th.

Southern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Shawnee, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern will face off against Iroquois at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Shawnee, they will head out on the road to take on Christian Educational Consortium at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
