J.P. Stevens entered their tilt with South Plainfield on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Tigers. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

J.P. Stevens easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-18.

J.P. Stevens' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for South Plainfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. J.P. Stevens will face off against Piscataway at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks are facing the Chiefs at the right time seeing as the Chiefs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for South Plainfield, they will challenge St. Thomas Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
