Football Recap: Middletown Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Middletown came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by the South Kingstown Rebels 38-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Islanders of the 27-13 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Middletown fell to 2-1. As for South Kingstown, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Middletown is set to take on their familiar foe Tolman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, South Kingstown will face off against rival Woonsocket at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
