Guerin Catholic won the last time they faced Cascade, and  Claire Ducey did her part to make sure it happened again. The Golden Eagles came out on top against the Cadets by a score of  2-0  on Saturday thanks in part to  Ducey, who  had 35  assists and three  digs. Ducey is  crushing it when it comes to  assists: she's   posted at least 18 every time she's  taken the court this season.
 Cascade's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Suzy Moore, who  had 11  digs and three assists, and  Lacie Godby, who  had ten  assists and six  digs.
Guerin Catholic is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record  this season. As for Cascade,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 13-10.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Guerin Catholic will take on Warren Central at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Cascade, they will square off against Western Boone at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday.
