Basketball Recap: Barlow Falls Short Against Ranked Central Catholic

On Tuesday, Barlow faced Central Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Barlow Bruins took a 68-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Catholic Rams. The Bruins were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 75-55.

Barlow's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 18-2. As for Central Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Barlow has already played their next matchup (against Sandy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Central Catholic, they will head out to square off against Nelson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Nelson comes in on three and Central Catholic on seven.
