Basketball Recap: Prairie City Comes Up Short

Prairie City lost against Powder Valley back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Prairie City Panthers took a 47-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Powder Valley Badgers. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Prairie City's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Powder Valley, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prairie City will head out to square off against Crane at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. As for Powder Valley, they will face off against Pine Eagle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
