Volleyball Recap: Vanguard Takes a Loss

Vanguard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Marion Colts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Vanguard's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for North Marion, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

After both having extra time off, Vanguard and West Port will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Marion, they will challenge Belleview at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rattlers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Colts surely won't give up without a fight.
