Volleyball Recap: Red Mountain Victorious

Red Mountain won the last time they faced Mountain Ridge and things went their way on Friday too. Red Mountain came out on top against Mountain Ridge by a score of 2-0.

Brexton Tompkinson paced Red Mountain's offense, picking up 12 kills. Tompkinson got some help from Caleb Haskett and his 20 assists. Haskett also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Dallin Pennington, each putting up two.

Red Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Mountain Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Red Mountain has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against ALA - Queen Creek on the 27th. As for Mountain Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Cienega on the 27th.
