Baseball Recap: Greenon Takes a Loss

Greenon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 8-3 to the Lehman Catholic Cavaliers.

Carson Fields made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. Eli Paulus also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Greenon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lehman Catholic, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Greenon will look to defend their home field on Monday against Southeastern Local at 5:00 p.m. The Knights are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Lehman Catholic, they will venture away from home to square off against Archbishop Alter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
