Volleyball Recap: Academy at the Lakes Wins Going Away Against Cristo Rey Tampa

It was a proper cat-fight when Academy at the Lakes challenged Cristo Rey Tampa on Wednesday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-14.

Aria Sneary-Beachy paced Academy at the Lakes' offense, picking up six kills. Sneary-Beachy got some help from Abigail Warnock and her 11 assists. Ariel Coleman controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Academy at the Lakes has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Cristo Rey Tampa, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Academy at the Lakes didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Hernando Christian Academy on the 9th. Cristo Rey Tampa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
