Basketball Game Preview: Ira Bulldogs vs. XDOT Academy Bison

The Ira Bulldogs will challenge the XDOT Academy Bison at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Ira is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Ira came up short against Hermleigh and fell 52-41. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 664th, while the Cardinals are ranked 184th).

Meanwhile, XDOT Academy played a tough game on January 10th in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Stephenville FAITH, falling 81-55.

XDOT Academy dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Ira, their loss dropped their record down to 16-13.
