Volleyball Recap: Northeastern Falls Short Against Ranked Cumberland Valley

Northeastern faced Cumberland Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bobcats fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0.

Hugh Rogers paced Northeastern's offense, picking up four kills. Rogers got some help from Jacob Zambito and his seven assists. Finally, Lincoln Wertz and Dylan Zimmerman kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked two attacks.

Northeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6-5. As for Cumberland Valley, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Looking ahead, Northeastern will venture away from home to face off against Dallastown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cumberland Valley, they will welcome State College at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
