Basketball Game Preview: Hoke County Bucks vs. Lee County Yellow Jackets

The Hoke County Bucks will head out to square off against the Lee County Yellow Jackets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Hoke County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Scotland 76-61 on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bucks as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Lee County ended up a good deal behind Richmond on Monday and lost 76-60. The Yellow Jackets haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Hoke County's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10. As for Lee County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Hoke County came up short against Lee County in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 56-52. Can Hoke County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
