Volleyball Recap: Eastside Comes Up Short on the Road Against Monroe Area

Eastside had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes on Tuesday. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Purple Hurricanes when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Eastside was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22.

Coincidentally, Eastside and Monroe Area will both be playing Athens Christian the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Purple Hurricanes will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
