Game recap: Paraclete High School Football Team bests Brentwood School

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Paraclete (Lancaster, Calif.) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat Brentwood School (Los Angeles, Calif.), 35-0, on Saturday.

The Spirits were up 28-0 at the half after taking the lead on a Franky Ramirez touchdown run in the first quarter.

With the win Paraclete extended its winning streak to seven games. PHS defeated the Patriots 46-0 last week.

The Lancaster school's most effective player was Antoyne Hutcherson. The senior ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.

The Eagles came in giving up 11.4 points per game this season. Brentwood School struggled against the Spirits, which came in averaging 27.0 points per game. Paraclete had given up an average of 15.7 points prior to the contest. The zero points that BS ended with were well below its average of 24.0 coming into the game.



When the two teams played each other last season, PHS came away with a 38-7 victory.

The loss comes after Brentwood School defeated Mammoth 46-18 last week. The loss snapped the Los Angeles school's 2-game winning streak.

In a Alpha game next week Brentwood School (6-2) takes on Sierra Canyon, and Paraclete (7-1) will go up against Windward also in a Alpha game.
