Basketball Recap: Reservoir Takes a Loss

Reservoir lost against Marriotts Ridge back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Reservoir 'Gators came up short against Marriotts Ridge, falling 62-39.

Reservoir has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points over those games. The win was the third in a row for Marriotts Ridge, bringing their record for this year to 15-8.

Coming up, Reservoir will head out to take on Atholton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Atholton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.4 points per game this season. Marriotts Ridge has already played their next contest (against Oakland Mills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
